The 30s

My grandparents were born in the 30s. I realized this in our afternoon walk after dinner as they told me about their past, for the 20th time this week. And I thought being a 90s baby was cool. My grandparents are really “G.” Like Great Gatsby era “G.” But then again Hong Kong in the 30s was a bit different, and there was opium and gangs like Ip Man and stuff.  Actually not that different.Just a thought.

Sister’s graduation is tomorrow, hopefully might see some old faces and have NOSTALGIA RUN ME OVER. but yes, it will be a good day tomorrow. Congrats graduates who have suffered/enjoyed Westwood!

Grrrrrr

So after having only 7 hrs of sleep the past 2 days, I finally took my last (second 8am) final this morning. When I left I realized my wallet was missing. So I went back to class trying to find it around my seat ans asking other students. After about an hr of searching I was pretty flustered and was definitely thinking of hulk smashing the whole place. Eventually I thought what would a person do if he/she found my wallet and narrowed it down to: 1) Returned to the Lost and Found, 2) Sent an email to me saying that they found it and would like to give it back, 3) Stole it. Sadly it was the latter as I thought about searching trash cans and eventually found it without any cash in it anymore, missing some gift cards, and on top of that, covered with some kind of soda. At least the person had the decency to not steal my debit/health insurance card/license. Sigh.

But, I’m finally done with finals. Get to go home in about an hour, and I think this might be on the most memorable summer that is about to come. Taking a summer class, RecWeek, random road trips, sleeping in, and possibly working.

Wake up

My room smells of Mary Jane.

Other then that, this semester will be interesting. The electives that I’m taking are gonna be quite fun: Psych of Women, which I thought was going to be a male bashing course, but turned out to be a class where the professor talks about her life as a mother/teacher and pornography and its effect on how women view themselves….as well as Biblical Archaeology, where my professor is some world famous oceanic archaeologist who discovered this:

Nothing big, just the only boat ever discovered in the Sea of Galilee dating around Jesus’ time. As well as uncovering some sea wrecks in the Mediterranean Sea around 2000 BC. Pretty cool stuff. Oh yea also taking intermediate badminton. Again, this will be a very interesting year.

Sad day, the stormy weather and humidity did not help as well. My Gengar keychain broke, he was too soft and his ears fell off. :(

Its almost 1am now, and I have an 8am tomorrow. I HATE SCHOOLLLLLLLL
