Today my father said we were going to San Francisco as we left the hotel around 11am. We found ourselves crossing the Golden Gate Bridge and then stopped, got on a bus and went 30 mph for 5 miles up this windy road through some mountains and got to Muir Woods, which is apparently one of the best national parks in America and hiking. Needless to say, our whole family felt lost on the ridiculously long hike, i dunno how long, like maybe 15 miles? Yea, we were in flip flops and unprepared because we had no clue it would be that bad, so up we went walking over roots, through some trees as big as the ones pictured above, paused and took many pictures, cursed at forest for being so darn big and not having any signs of telling us how to get out, and after 3 hrs of endless walking, we finally got to the exit and left. Yup that was my day.
However yesterday was amazing. One of the best wedddings I have ever gone to by far. We stayed at the St. Regis, a ridiculouslllyyyy nice hotel where the wedding was held outside on the top of the hotel, had an open bar, live band, karaoke, dancing, 10 COURSE MEALLL, and more drinking with the family, watched as all the parents and other family members get pissed drunk and started dancing and such.
Pictures will come soon once we go back to LA, apparently we’re going to Yosemite Park tomorrow for one night, and the drive there is 4 hrs, and the drive back to LA is 6 hrs….huzzah.
